Times are tough, but even ol’ Nick wasn’t prepared for the worst. He figured that with his demand soaring every year, that there was no way he’d find himself out of work. Being a sole proprietorship has its benefits, or so he thought. His wife had handed him a pink slip. No, she doesn’t hold the company title, but she sure as hell is divorcing his ass. “You never exercise, you never lose that stupid belly! I’m sick of it! and this house is always too damn cold!” she would say on that fateful evening.
Just when things couldn’t get any worse, the IRS showed up and passed an ultimatim – either pay back taxes, or be stripped of everything you own. Well, Nick never used money before, instead relying on trade and free labor – a philosphy he thought he learned pretty well from watching Star Trek over the years. Sadly, it was not to be, as this mortal coil still relies on two things for sure: Death and Taxes.
Then Nick got an idea. Surely, since he had no experience with Taxes, but he had experienced several close calls over the years on rooftops, he could surely find a fit with Death and make it into a new living.
So beware all you Christmas lovers, 2010 is the year everything changes. 2010 is the year that the world will come to know…
