This site is a collection of anecdotes, wisdom (and not so-much-wisdom) as well as general ramblings by a sufferer of Acute Geekitis.  There are only a couple of rules that I have for online blogging.  First, no trash talking current or former employers.  I just don’t do it.  Secondly, anything goes, as long as it’s not generally considered illegal in the 50 US states.  If it is illegal, then GTFO.  I’m not here to contribute to the downfall of humanity through the internet.  That’s what the introduction of IPv6 and SSDs are for.  That, and bandwidth caps.  FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU to the ISPs out there that do that shit.  Dammit. 

That being said, that opens the site up to a lot, don’t you think?  ;)

There are several categories,  as of this writing, which means they’re subject to change depending on how I feel, and what I can get away with, so if the list is out of date, get bent, are as follows.

  • Cuteness Overload
    Generally stuff pulled that I like from the ICHC empire. If you’re from that site and are reading this description, I LOVE YOU GUYS.

 

  • FAIL
    When FAIL is commonly used. When angels cry. When the cubs lose the world series. Get the picture? Great!

 

  • Geekin’ Out
    As the name suggests, when things are at such high levels of geekiness, that you can’t help but be self diagnosing yourself with a case of Acute Geekitis.

 

  • IRC iz EZ
    Fun stuff that I’ve found or posted to IRC, or which that has been posted to IRC that I enjoyed. Just a warning that some of these things are probably not G or PG rated. You’ve been warned. ;)

 

  • Onion Peels
    News to not be taken seriously. Take with a grain of salt. Like “The Onion™?” Similar, but with less calories and fat.

 

  • Random
    Random, RANDOM!

 

  • Spoiled Eggs
    Random Eggs that I like or want. If you want to buy me a gift, or send me the money on paypal to get one of these, I’ll take it. Yes! OH GOD THANK YOU! I’m spoiled rotten when you do that for me, thus… bum bum buuuum… Spoiled Eggs!

OH!  By the way, if you haven’t gotten your shots yet, don’t worry – there isn’t one available for Acute Geekitis.  I’m just being an Acute Pain In Your Behind.  Or what I like to call APIYB.  Ah-thank-you!
